West Virginia is an eastern U.S. state in the tree-covered Appalachian Mountains. Along with the natural beauty that West Virginia holds, it also carries strong historical importance in the United States. West Virginia is one of two American states to be formed during the American Civil War.
Unfortunately, the beauty of West Virginia is covered by its poverty-stricken neighborhoods. With a population of 1.8 million, about 19.1 percent of the state is in poverty, making it the fourth-highest poverty-stricken state in the country. Most poverty-stricken areas result in having a higher disconnected youth population. 20 percent of West Virginia’s youth between the ages of 18 to 24 don’t hold a high school degree and are out of work
To provide for proper schooling, My Fine Mind provided the New Vrindaban Gopal’s Garden Home School Co-op in West Virginia with school materials for teachers and students alike in order to ensure that all students in the area are provided with the proper education.
In order to achieve our goal, we have partnered with the New Vrindaban Gopal’s Garden Home School Co-op.

The Annual Month of Giving is a program held by My Fine Mind every month. Each month there is a certain goal set by My Fine Mind in order to buy and ship school supplies to locations that have suffered from natural disasters. This program allows for My Fine Mind to collect donations for families in urgent need of school supplies. Any form of donation is greatly appreciated.
